The Process

The Skills Shape Aba Process

Our process is standard; however, the treatments are personal and unique. Once we’ve discussed your circumstances, we can develop the best game plan for you and your children. Call us for more information at (407) 439-0007 to set up a virtual or local assessment.

Our in-person visits are available in Lake Nona and the surrounding areas. While we primarily operate within these regions, we occasionally make exceptions for clients who are farther away, depending on the specific circumstances of the case. Please don't hesitate to give us a call to discuss this further.

The Initial Assessment

THIS IS OUR FIRST PHONE CALL AND IT IS FREE :)

The first step involves an initial assessment, which can be done conveniently through video or phone calls. During this session, we'll have the opportunity to get to know each other better. You can share valuable information about your child's needs, strengths, and challenges while discussing your expectations. This is also your chance to ask questions about my ABA services and how I can assist you and your child.

The in-person or Virtual Assessment

THIS IS THE SECOND STEP OF THE PROCESS.

If you are in Orlando, we will proceed to the next step, which involves an in-person assessment. I will travel to your location, whether it's your home or your child's school (with the necessary permissions in place). This allows me to personally observe your child and thoroughly assess their current needs.

However, if you are not in Orlando, don't worry! We can still proceed with a virtual assessment. Through a video call, I can effectively observe your child, engage with them, and gather the necessary information to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

Assessment Result and Treatment Plan

Once the assessment is complete, I will analyze the gathered information and formulate a tailored treatment plan. This plan will be based on your child's unique needs, targeting specific areas of development and addressing any challenging behaviors. We will schedule a follow-up session to review the assessment results together, discuss the proposed treatment plan, and address any concerns or questions you may have.

If you have more inquiries regarding our process at Skills Shape ABA, we’d be happy to speak with you directly!
